On March 23, students from across the Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter descended upon Georgian College to participate in National Engineering Month activities hosted by the local PEO and OACETT Chapters. Event The National Engineering Month (NEM) – Simcoe event includes competitions for students in grades 5 to 8 and demonstrations (for all age groups) . Activities include Popsicle stick bridge competition , catapult competition, spaghetti and marshmallow tower. Children Experience Engineering at EOT 2019

On March 2nd, children from Simcoe-Muskoka had fun at the Engineering Circus hosted by Engineers of Tomorrow Barrie. The event, held at Georgian College, took over kids through four unique stations consisting of a “big-top building station”, a catapult, a balloon rocket and an electrical circuit. National Engineering Month 2018
