All students are invited once again to participate in local National Engineering Month activities hosted by the PEO Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter and OACETT Georgian Bay Chapter.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 at Eastview Secondary School in Barrie.

Competitions for student in Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8 include:

1. Popsicle Stick Bridge
2. Catapult
3. Mechanical Grabber
4. Live Quiz on Engineering

Other demonstrations and games for students of any age include:

1. 3D Printer and Robots (by the Barrie Public Library)
2. Raspberry Pi Computer Coding Demonstrations
3. Arduino-based Obstacle Avoiding Car
4. Marsmallow and Spaghetti Structure Building
5. Water Treatment Process
6. Crystal Radio and Electric Motor Construction
7. CNC Machine Coding
