Have you been searching for a new and exciting experience? Wanted to try skydiving but weren’t sure about the whole jumping-out-of-a-plane part!?! Look no further!

The PEO Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter presents a unique opportunity to experience the thrills of skydiving in a safe, controlled, indoor environment.

Join us as we travel to iFly Toronto and experience free-falling in their specially designed wind-tunnel that generates windspeeds up to 300km/hr – enough to sustain a person in flight!

This event includes:

• 2 Free-Fall flights


• Souvenir Photos and Video of your Flights


• In-class training with an experienced instructor 


• “Behind the Scenes” tour of the wind-tunnel and equipment


• Light food and refreshments


• Return transportation (charter bus) from Barrie to Oakville


• Opportunity to Socialize and Network with other Simcoe-Muskoka Engineers

To visit on your own this experience would cost over $200 per person!

Schedule: Saturday – July 15, 2017

5:00 pm – Registration
5:30 pm – Bus Departure (Location TBD)
7:30 pm – Flying Experience / Food
10:00 pm – Tour
11:00 pm – Bus Departure Home

Registration:

Open to all P.Eng. and EIT members in the Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter only.

Limited spots available. Registration is First-Come, First-Serve*.
*A waiting list will be created.

Flying Eligibility Criteria:

• You have checked with your doctor first if you have a history of heart, neck or back problems.


• You weigh under 230 lbs, or 104 kg.


• You are not pregnant.


• You have never had a dislocated shoulder.


• You are not under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.


• You are not wearing a cast.


• You are 18 years of age or older, you have read, understood and signed the Participant Undertaking and Risk Acceptance Statement. (Minors are permitted with an accompanying guardian).
