AGNORA – Fabricators of Architectural Glass – Technical Tour

Join the PEO Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter for a tour of AGNORA’s production facility in Collingwood, Ontario.
AGNORA fabricates the largest architectural glass in North America. The 225,000 square foot production facility functions as a custom fabrication shop providing glass to a variety of cultural, residential, commercial and retail projects. AGNORA’s fabrication techniques include CNC fabrication, polishing & edgework, lamination, insulated glass, heat treatment and digital ceramic printing, up to 130” X 300”.
The tour will begin with an introduction from the President/Vice President of AGNORA describing the history of the facility, business value proposition and company culture. Project Managers will then lead groups of 5-6 people throughout the facility to discuss in more details the fabrication process, machinery, and different kinds of projects that AGNORA continues to work on.
Note:
1) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by AGNORA at the beginning of the tour.
2) Photo’s are permitted, provided that they are safely taken.
There is a nominal charge of $10.00 per interested participant for these tours, and all proceeds will go towards the PEO Simcoe Muskoka Scholarship fund!
