The PEO Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter was pleased to have two members of provincial parliament in attendance at the Chapter AGM and Spring License Ceremony held on March 31st in Barrie.

Andrea Khanjin, MPP for Barrie-Innisfil addressed the crowd stating that the government wants to hear from the expertise of professional engineers in order to enable government decision making processes. Doug Downey, MPP for Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte followed her address encouraging the new licensees in the room to get involved and volunteer with their profession.

The MPPs also participated in the ceremony offering certificates of congratulations to all the license recipients.
